Acorn Masterkey 61 MIDI Keyboard Controller - The Acorn Masterkey 61 is a 5 octave MIDI keyboard controller perfect for beginners setting up a home studio. The Masterkey 61 is a solid USB keyboard with assignable MIDI control to map your favourite parameters.The top of the Acorn Masterkey 61 features a 61 key velocity sensitive keyboard making it the perfect 5 octave level entry MIDI controller for playng piano and synthesiser software within your DAW software.On the left hand side of the usb keyboard is the Masterkey 61's control section. You get 4 smooth assignable rotary knobs which can be mapped to any control such as PAN, reverb delay or any other effect within your DAW software.The large slider fader is perfect for mapping to volume controls of individual channels while the LED screen indicates the position of the parmeters in use with a 3 digit red display.The three buttons below the screen are for shifting octave up and down with an additional edit button for edting drums or instruments. These controls can be over written and mapped to popular software functions such as stop, play and record. To finish off the control section of the Masterkey 61 you get two jog style wheels for adjusting pitch bend and modulation.The back of the Masterkey 61 has a class compliant USB port for connecting the keyboard directly to a computer. Class compliant means the masterkey does not require a driver so you plug it in and start making music straight away. The MIDI keyboard powers directly from your computers USB port so no need for additional power supply.
