40W 12V Photonic Universe dual battery solar charging kit (solar panel, 5m cable, 10A dual battery solar controller)
40W 12V solar panel in the kit is made of high efficiency monocrystalline BOSCH solar cells which have excellent performance characteristics and high output even in low light conditions. The panel is fitted with 2x5m of special solar cable and waterproof MC4 connectors which can be cut off when wiring to the solar controller or used for connecting an extension cable (not included).
The kit includes 10A dual battery solar charge controller designed to charge and protect 2 x 12V batteries or battery banks simultaneously. The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology which increases charge acceptance and prolongs the life of your batteries. PWM technology can also recover some lost battery capacity.
The controller allows setting charging priority e.g. 80% of power to go to the first battery and 20% to the second. When one of the batteries is fully charged the controller will redirect all power to the other battery.
The kit can work with a single 12V battery too. If there's only 1 battery connected to the controller, it will pass all power to this battery. A second battery can be added later.
Controller has many protection functions such as reverse current, overcharging, short circuit, reverse polarity etc. It includes a user manual which explains connections and operations.
