I am aware of the negative comment in the review below referring to the quality of this appliance. All I can say is that in my opinion and also the opinion of many of my customers from who I have had feedback, this fire is definately better than its cheaper copies. The trouble is, in the pictures they all look almost the same. But in reality you often find that the glass fascia on the cheap ones is only half the thickness, the flame effect is jerky and the fan noise intrusive.
